Container Handling ISO Containers

Our container handling system is optimized for simplicity, low headroom and low installation cost. The rails are easily removable using quarter turn locks with flush mounted receptacles. The rails are stacked and stored on the trolley when not in use.

Electrical skidding system

Stavanger Engineering’s electrical skidding system for ISO containers is a low-cost and low-maintenance solution for moving and securing containers.

Key features:

• Low build height. (100 mm)
• Modular design for up to 12 containers.
• Can be used with 10ft and 20ft ISO containers.
• Simple installation.
• Very low maintenance.

Stavanger Engineering’s electrical skidding system is developed for use on CSOV and SOV’s. It can both move and seafasten containers with one person operating the system. The sturdy chain drive can handle dirty and harsh environments.

A simple and maintenance-free load limiter system stops the movement once container is moved to the seafastening brackets. Each side of the push-system are synchronized using a driveshaft.

The modular design can be expanded to move a large number of containers.
