Stavanger Engineering delivers unique crane to Statoil

Stavanger Engineering has been awarded a contract by Statoil for the delivery of a unique self-driven mini crane to the Aasta Hansteen Platform. The mobile crane is very compact and approved for use in areas with potentially explosive atmospheres. The crane has battery operation and can be used for many different lifting tasks on the platform with tight access.

The contract is of great importance to Stavanger Engineering and confirms that the company has extensive expertise in innovative mechanical solutions for the offshore industry.
