Stavanger Engineering has been awarded a contract from Kvaerner for delivery of a cargo lift in the new lift-in-box type. The stand-alone solution will be used to handle luggage from the heli-deck on Statoil’s Njord platform.

Tomas Johnsen, General Manager in Stavanger Engineering, says in an announcement: “The contract confirms that our competence on innovative mechanical solutions is attractive, and the same solution can be used on many other offshore installations.”
